- What personal data do we process about you and why?
You may use the Webpages without providing any personal data about you. In this case, we will collect only the following metadata that result from your usage of the Webpages: browser type and version, operating system and interface, website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL), webpage(s) you are visiting on the Webpages, date and time of accessing the Webpages, and internet protocol (IP) address.
Your IP address will be used to enable your access to the Webpages. Once the IP address is no longer necessary for this purpose, we will shorten your IP address by removing the last octet of your IP address. The metadata, including the shortened IP address, will be used to improve the quality and services of the Webpages and services by analysing the usage behaviour of our users.
If you make an enquiry on the Webpages, you will be asked to provide the following personal data about you: name, email address, enquiry detail and address (country and city only). We process such personal data for purposes of answering your queries, providing information requested, improving the Webpages according to usage patterns, and for technical administration or other purposes to which you have agreed.

To the extent possible, we will restrict the processing of your personal data for such limited purposes.

Right to withdraw your consent: If you have declared your consent regarding certain collecting, processing and use of your personal data, you can withdraw this consent at any time with future effect. Such a withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the consent withdrawal. Please contact us as stated in Section 7 below to withdraw your consent.
Additional data privacy rights: Pursuant to applicable data protection law, you may have the right to: (i) request access to your personal data; (ii) request rectification of your personal data; (iii) request erasure of your personal data; (iv) request restriction of processing of your personal data; (v) request data portability; and/or (vi) object to the processing of your personal data.

Our processing includes the data you provide at the time of your registration for the CRM system at SUQQU stores e.g. your name, your address, your e-mail address, your telephone number and your social media accounts. Once you have signed up for the CRM system, we may keep track of your SUQQU purchases and any samples handed out to you (including information about your skin type).
With your consent, we process your data in relation to the CRM system for SUQQU, which you may revoke at any time (contractual purposes). With your prior consent (which you may revoke), we send you the latest news on promotional activities and events for SUQQU ("marketing purposes"). Further, we process your data to offer you a personalized shopping experience when shopping with us, and analyse the advertising and marketing performance of SUQQU products in the context of market research while balancing this legitimate interest with the need to protect your rights ("marketing purposes based on the legitimate interest"). We also process your data to comply with legal and regulatory obligations ("legal purposes").
The processing of your data for contractual and marketing purposes is subject to your prior consent which you may, in any case, revoke. The processing for marketing purposes based on legitimate interest is in our legitimate interest, taking into account the limits imposed on this type of processing in accordance with the law. The processing of your data for legal purposes is mandatory according to applicable law.
We will only share your customer data with our headquarters in Japan in anonymous form.
We process and store your data as long as it is necessary for the above mentioned purposes and will delete or destroy if these purposes cease to exist. If you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, your data for that purpose will be deleted or destroyed.
We protect the confidentiality and security of your data. We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
You have a right of information about the processing of your data, a right to correction if your data is incorrect or incomplete, a right to erasure, a right to restriction of processing, a right of objection, a right to data transferability and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (to the extent this right exists under applicable law). Please note that these rights are subject to certain conditions and exceptions may apply.
